Meet Dr. Daniel
Dr. Frank Daniel
Dr. Daniel grew up in Southern California and graduated with honors from UCLA with a bachelors degree in Psychobiology. He subsequently graduated with honors from the Washington University School of Dentistry and practiced family dentistry before entering the Orthodontic residency at the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a past president and current board member of the Central Coast Dental Society, as well as an active member of the American and California Dental Associations, the American Association of Orthodontists, and state and regional orthodontic associations. Dr. Daniel has also coauthored research on physiology and orthodontics, and lectured on orthodontic topics to the Central Coast Dental Society, the Central Coast Hygienist’s Association, and the Edward Angle Orthodontic Society. He has twice been honored at the Angle Orthodontic Society annual meeting for best treated orthodontic case, and has had his work published as part of an internationally recognized textbook on surgical orthodontic treatment.
As a Central Coast Dad he helped develop the original music exhibit at the SLO Children’s Museum, spent many hours as a coach, committee member, or snack parent for AYSO, SLO Fire, Condors, girls softball, baseball, basketball, waterpolo, swimming, 24hr Relay Captain, chaperone for any event that would not be an embarrassment to his children, a San Luis Symphony Board member and chairman of the Music Education committee.
Dr. Daniel has lived and worked as an orthodontist on the Central Coast for over twenty years, where he has successfully, so far, raised three children, a dog and a cat.
